This training offered on an on-going basis which leads to an industry recognized certificate of skill competency or certificate of proficiency. These certificates have been designed by the industry advisory committees for each of the programs offered. Programs are available to both high school and adult students.
Auto Body
The Auto Body Program will acquaint students with the materials, tools, equipment, and procedures commonly used in the auto collision repair industry to refurnish modern vehicles. Emphasis will be placed on working safely in a refinishing facility and in gaining the entry level skills in vehicle surface preparation, masking, painting, jambs, refinishing and detailing using the most recent techniques and materials necessary to successfully work in a refinishing facility today.
The Auto Body program is being closed at the end of the 2010-11 school year due to budget cuts. No new students are being admitted in to the program.

Diesel Technology
The Diesel Technology Program includes training in transmission, differentials, brakes, steering, suspension, wheel alignment, engine rebuilding, preventative maintenance and electrical troubleshooting on diesel engines. Drafting
The growth in this geographic area has been in commercial and residential architecture. Therefore, the emphasis for the DXATC Drafting Program is entry-level training and continuing education for employment in the drafting industry.More Info

A Medical Assistant is an allied health professional trained in all aspects of medical office practices. The comprehensive training at DXATC includes administrative as well as clinical competencies.
